Job Description
The Law Office of Edward W. Neufville III, LLC is accepting applications for an in-person Summer law clerk. This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the position with broad experience in various aspects of immigration law.
Responsibilities:
- Draft immigration applications for attorney review.
- Assist in the preparation of cases for submission to government agencies.
- Assist with the law firm’s case acceptance process by meeting with clients to collect information and documents required for case submission.
- Monitor deadlines and contact clients to follow up on case matters.
- Process incoming case-related correspondence and phone calls.
- Make appropriate entries in the case management system.
- Provide translation and interpretation for non-English speaking clients.
- Provide other related duties as assigned, such as copying, faxing, scanning, etc.
Qualifications:
- Education Level: Currently enrolled law school student and above
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to work independently and within a team.
- Must be well-organized, able to complete work on time, and highly reliable.
- Able to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and virtual platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including legal and analytical writing.

This full-time (40/hrs) position runs from May/June to 1st week in August. Compensation: Stipend ( $25 a day plus monthly parking reimbursed at county parking lot or reimbursed metro parking pass)
