Our client C. M. was placed in removal proceedings for illegal entry and stay in the United States. She was later granted relief for asylum based on the threats and harm she suffered in Guatemala. The Law Office of Edward W. Neufville III, LLC had several meetings with the Department of Homeland Security regarding her case. The Department of Homeland Security agreed to terminate her removal proceeding and allowed her to file for asylum with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

Our client K.A. was a student activist in Ivory Coast. He entered the United States on asylum and applied for a green card in the early 2000s. The application was placed on hold on the basis of providing material support to a terrorist organization. The Law Office of Edward W. We argued that the current nature and actions of the organization could not be associated with our client. K.A. has been granted his green card and is now a United States citizen.
